I'm making a BOLD statement
I’m taking part in the Big Bold Hair Challenge for Canteen because I want to stand with young people affected by cancer. My daughter was diagnosed with Bowel cancer last year at just 20 years old, and seeing her face the fear, uncertainty, and challenges of cancer treatment has been both heartbreaking and inspiring.
This challenge isn’t just about changing my hair—it’s about raising awareness and funds to support young people like my daughter, who deserve access to the best care, support, and resources while facing the toughest fight of their lives. Every dollar raised goes toward programs that help young people navigate the emotional, practical, and social impacts of cancer, so they’re not alone in this journey.
By going big and bold, I’m showing my support for all young people with cancer and helping Canteen continue their incredible work. I hope my efforts can make even a small difference in giving them strength, hope, and a community that truly understands.
